I am an amateur herpetologist and currently completing my Cambridge IGCSE. I plan to pursue studies in Zoology and possibly Microbiology. Over the years, I have developed a strong interest in Taxonomy and Field Herpetology, with a particular fascination for rare and little-known African herpetofauna. In the future, I hope to specialize in Herpetology at the postgraduate level, though only time will tell.

Liam Botha is a passionate wildlife enthusiast based in Pretoria. As a wildlife photographer, he has traveled extensively to capture the natural beauty of South Africa through the lens of a camera.
From a young age, Liam has been collecting insects and other wildlife, a lifelong passion that has only grown stronger with time. He has expanded his knowledge significantly by doing the beginner and later advanced snake identification course. At an age of 12 he did the venomous snake handling course leading to the reptile photography course and at 14 the venomous snake handling bootcamp. He also has an incredible eye for wildlife art and has done many pieces illustrating the beauty of reptiles, plants, amphibians, birds and mammals.
